FAQs

SHIPPING

For all orders in the UK I ship using a signed for service with Royal Mail.

All orders will be shipped within 5 working days from the time they are placed unless otherwise stated. You’ll be updated with tracking information once your order is sent.

Orders placed from outside the UK will be sent with Parcelforce, Royal Mail’s, international shipping provider. All orders outisde the UK are sent DDU (delivery duties unpaid). Feel free to contact me to make further inquiries regarding the rate and delivery times.

RETURNS

While every endeavor is made to mend and eliminate any flaws from these pre loved garments, some items may still contain minor flaws and signs of wear.

I will of course accept returns, however being a ‘one man show’ please pay attention to the description/images/videos and feel free to request measurements and ask further questions to avoid unnecessary returns.

Please notify me within 14 days of receiving the item that you wish to return it and send the item back within 7 days of informing me. Return costs will be the buyers responsibility and I request that you retain proof of postage should any discrepancy arise.

A refund will be given once the item is received in it’s original condition. Initial postage costs will not be refunded. Please also note that I do not hold responsibility for any customs duty or taxes.

CUSTOM ORDERS

I love creating custom orders. This works best when you have a shirt/blazer that you have found or already own and love and would like it upcycled into one of the designs I offer. Please submit your request via the ‘contact’ page and I will respond with my availability and the next steps. Usually, I’ll request an image of the shirt to ensure I can work with it and we can either decide on an existing design or work collaboratively to adapt my design detailing to fit with the shirt/blazer. The cost of sending the shirt/blazer to me will be the customers responsibility and any additional design/rework fees will be outlined upfront. In general, I will try to keep the cost the same as purchasing an item ‘off the rack’.

COLLABS + DESIGN SERVICES

Anything is possible.

As an experienced designer with a wide range of pattern making and creative ability, I’m always keen to be inspired by a collaboration or a new request.

Feel free to reach out if you have an idea outside the lines of what you have seen on the site.

GIVING BACK

I hope by now we are all aware of the damage that the fashion industry causes our beautiful earth and the valuable lives that populate it.

While I believe that each small step, such as buying second hand and supporting small makers, moves us towards a more sustainable future, there are wonderful people and organizations fighting the big fight that so many of us can often find overwhelming.

I choose to support Labour Behind the Label who campaign for garment workers rights worldwide, by donating 10% of profits from each sale towards their efforts.

SUSTAINABILITY

Always and only making new from old. Any discarded bits of shirts/blazers are used in the up-cycling process or kept for future projects.

All shirts are sourced by me from charity shops in the UK in person or online.

This is slow fashion, made with care and made to last.

I keep my packaging as minimal as possible.

It’s not a perfect model, but it’s what I can do for now and as the project evolves so will this section.
